Explanation :

Consider the worm as A, bug as B and the ant as C

Let's go through each expression and solve them step by step:


Expression 1: A + A + A = 12

3A = 12

A = 12 / 3

A = 4


Expression 2: A x B + C = ?


Expression 3: B + B + B = 30

3B = 30

B = 30 / 3

B = 10


Expression 4: C + C - A = 18

C + C - 4 = 18

2C - 4 = 18

2C = 18 + 4

2C = 22

C = 22 / 2

C = 11


To summarize:

-> A = 4

-> B = 10

-> C = 11

 

A x B + C = 4 x 10 + 11

As per BODMAS rule, first Multiplication then Addition

A x B + C = 40 + 11

A x B + C = 51

Thus the answer is 51 !
